My Ceramics
Are the pieces handmade?+
Yes. Every Studio Lippi piece is handmade in Dublin, Ireland. The majority are thrown on the potter's wheel, and each one is individually hand-finished, so no two pieces are exactly alike.
Where are Studio Lippi pieces made?+
Every piece is made by hand in Dublin, Ireland.
How are the pieces formed?+
Most pieces are thrown on the pottery wheel; a few are hand-built. Each piece is then individually trimmed, finished, and glazed by hand before high-temperature firing.
What materials are used in your ceramics?+
I work in speckled stoneware clay. All glazes used on dinnerware and drinking vessels are food-safe.
Orders & Pickup
How much does shipping cost in Ireland?+
Shipping costs €9 per order within Ireland, dispatched via An Post tracked service.
How long does delivery take in Ireland?+
Orders are dispatched within 3 working days. Please allow up to a week for delivery.
Can I pick up my order?+
Yes, local pickup can be arranged in the Dublin 8 area after your purchase. Once your order is placed, I'll reach out to coordinate a convenient pickup time, free of charge.
Do you ship outside Ireland?+
Shipping outside Ireland is currently unavailable on the website due to high shipping costs. Email me at studiolipi.ceramics@gmail.com to discuss other secure shipping methods.
Returns & Refunds
Do you accept returns?+
Returns aren't accepted; all sales are final.
What if my order arrives damaged?+
In the event of a damaged delivery, please contact me immediately with photos as evidence, and I'll work with you to find a solution. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days at the latest. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since I've approved a refund, please contact me at studiolippi.ceramics@gmail.com.
How long does a refund take?+
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days. Your bank may take additional time to post the credit.
Care & Use
Are the pieces dishwasher safe?+
Yes, all pieces are dishwasher safe. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out via the Contact page.
How should I care for my ceramic piece?+
Hand-washing is preferred to help your pieces last the longest and resist chipping.
How do I prevent water stains or marks on surfaces under my ceramics?+
I recommend always using a coaster when placing ceramics on porous surfaces like wood, unsealed marble, or granite countertops. For vases, place them on top of something moisture-resistant or that you don't mind getting damp.
